Houston Rooted
A sound shaped by one of America's most culturally and musically diverse cities.
About 713 Philharmonic
One city. Every sound. One orchestra.
713 Philharmonic is a Houston-based contemporary orchestra built for the sound of now.
We bring the scale and craft of the orchestra into conversation with the music that moves our city—from soul, R&B, gospel and hip-hop to cinematic, popular and symphonic repertoire—creating concert experiences that feel elevated, culturally connected and unmistakably Houston.
Our mission
To create exceptional orchestral experiences that reflect Houston's musical identity, connect artists and audiences across genres, and expand what an orchestra can sound and feel like.
What Makes 713 Different
Houston in character. Orchestral in scale.
Orchestrally Bold
Symphonic craft without treating genre boundaries as walls.
Built for Connection
Performances designed to connect musicians, artists and audiences through music they recognize—and music they may discover differently.
